Occupations are our everyday activities, from dressing and eating to socializing and hobbies. Occupational therapists offer a unique perspective on removing barriers and promoting independence in doing the daily tasks that make life enjoyable!
Occupational therapy practitioners have a holistic perspective, in which the focus is on adapting the environment to fit the person, and the person is an integral part of the therapy team. Our therapist works one-on-one with patients using compassion, creativity, and advanced therapy techniques, in a comfortable environment, to help patients achieve their goals and restore function. Individually designed therapy programs are carefully developed for patients with injuries and/or medical conditions related to the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and digits.
Occupational therapists (OTs) help patients get back to daily activities they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations).
